54th FBAB Meet @ Cafesta, Whitefield

Cafesta, located in the lower ground floor of Ascendan Park Square Mall, Whitefield, it boasts to give it’s customers an exclusive array of eggless dessert. They claim to be the best in eggless dessert segment which includes cakes, pancakes, waffles, mousse etc. which is true. Apart from desserts they serve sandwiches, burgers, pasta, wraps and variety of both veg and non veg nibbles. They also have fabulous serving of shakes and smoothies which goes well with the food served here.
Surrounded by IT and many different companies around the mall, the cafe is providing the facilities to support team meetings, conferences with a projector too for the presentations. That is some clever thinking by the cafe.

I was invited to this store as a part of 54th FBAB Meet. A group of bloggers for a special tasting session of there new menu.

The mocktails and shakes we tried:

Watermelon Ice Tea: This is a unique flavor which I tried for the first time in an ice tea. Perfect for the summer heat.

Green Apple Soda: A sweet and crisp taste of green apple with just the right amount of Fizz required to gulp down some non veg starters..

Mojito: The Virgin Mojito was the perfect drink to calm our nerves in this heat.

Lemon Ice Tea: Another tangy and sweet lemon flavored Ice Tea. A perfect choice for those who love some tangy kick to their drinks.

Ferrero Rocher Choco Shake: This is one of their best selling shake. The presentation is sure applause worthy. Served in a skull shaped bell jar with chocolate sauce dripping over, sure gives it a devil look. It was quite sweet for my taste and my personal suggestion would be to have it without the whipped cream.

Hazelnut Cold Coffee: A cold coffee with that sweet nutty flavor.

Double Choco chip Coffee: This cold coffee would be loved by those who are big fans of chocolate in abundance which sure makes the drinks exquisite.

Mint Choco Shake: This is a refreshing mint infused chocolate shake which gives it a refreshing twist.

Caramel Banana Smoothie: This is basically a healthier sweet option. The banana is blended with chilled milk and topped with the caramel sauce giving it the extra sweet punch.

Now comes the food…

Starters

French fries: The French fries are always a hit, be it the kids or the adults.

Potato Wedges: These were some crunchy wedges deep fried and tossed in the herbs served with mayo.

Chicken Popcorn: These small chicken pops were delish. A super snack to help your sudden hunger.

Nachos Bellgrande: Nachos topped with veggies, salsa, olives and cheese. A perfect snack.

Nachos Chicken Bellgrande: These Nachos were topped with veggies, salsa, olives, cheese and chicken chunks tossed in white sauce.. this my my favorite from the lot..

Veg Cheese Pasta: Penne pasta tossed in white sauce, jalopenoes, olives, cheese and some dried herbs.

Creamy chicken pasta:  Chicken chunks are added to the veg pasta..

Olive pasta: Penne pasta tossed in lots of crushed garlic and olive oil and jalopenoes Nd good amount of sliced black olives..

Pasta in mixed sauce: We had chicken pasta in mixed sauce, a perfect amalgamation of arribita as well as white sauce to give it the taste of both the worlds.

Grilled sanburg chicken sandwich:  This is the non veg version with the non veg Patty.

Crispy chicken burger: A juicy chicken patty in between perfectly toasted bun with mayo spread and large slices of tomatoes nd capsicum. Served with coleslaw and tomato salsa.

Desserts

Choco chilli Sandwich: This was an amazing treat… Nutella spread on bread with green chillies, grilled and a drizzle of chocolate syrup and white chocolate shavings..

Banana Cinnamon Caramel Pancake: A no eggs pancake. Batter is flavored with cinnamon and with slices of bananas and a drizzle of Caramel.

Choco Cream Vanilla pancake: A chocolate pancake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and dollop of whipped cream. This is some rich eat..

Chocolate Molten pudding sundae: A scoop of vanilla ice cream on chocolate pudding. Then a generous pour of chocolate syrup. One can have a chocolate high with this.

Brownie Sundae:  This was the usual chocolate brownie with ice cream and chocolate syrup. This was vanished by us in seconds.

Waffles with Nutella topping: Waffles at this place are really good. Fluffy, soft from inside and crunchy from outside. And if you have Nutella as topping, then nothing can stop u from gorging on it.

Waffles with maple syrup: I loved this one specifically as it was plain and simple with just small drizzle of maple syrup. Just what I wanted my meal to be over with.

My personal rating for the place will be :
Location : 4.5
Ambiance : 4.0
Taste : 4.0
Pricing : 3.5
Overall : 4.0

Overall we had fun, gorging on food, shakes and desserts. Cracking stupid jokes and kudos to our host for bearing us and our craziness. He was extremely polite and explaining us every detail about his concept for the place and his future plans. I wish him and his team a very best of luck for an amazing future.
